Lamb of God: Ashes of the Wake

Ashes of the Wake is a piece of history in modern metal, drawing post-Thrash influences from the 90s Pantera and seasoning them with vocals in full Metalcore style. In the 48 minutes of this album, one can hear a clear evolution compared to the earlier works of Lamb, which were much more bland. However, there is a slight sense of lacking a slower track to break up the continuous aggression of the quintet.

    As far as I'm concerned, the worst metal band I've ever heard. A bunch of wannabes making plastic records.
