Lunar Aurora are a black metal band from Germany, originally influenced by Emperor's In the Nightside Eclipse; they later evolved into an ambient black metal band. This album creates a sinister, dark, and bleak atmosphere that works incredibly well. Ambient passages at the beginning of some songs (the Gregorian chants in the opening track Gluck are splendid, with tolling bells and echoes fading into the distance...) as well as keyboards and electronics, to create.
