A 3 that is a 3 and 1/2. An album that is actually quite good, but pretentious in its attempt to be "50 content and 50 movement": a lot of movement, but very little content (although when it does appear, it stands out). Musically, it's very good, blending jazz and dub influences, yet often redundant and repetitive.

Jovanotti in his early days. What can I say, he does his job well as a DJ and entertainer, with energetic hits that achieve easy success, but he doesn’t go beyond that. An easy-listening, straight from the italo-disco of the late '80s.

Jovanotti's "Risalita" album. You can feel the desire for change, to start representing something more valuable. Fresh and fun pop, musically well-crafted, cheerful lyrics but mostly a bit uninspired. A good album that can be listened to more than once, but without causing miracle shouts.

The most depressing and inaudible outfit of Jovanotti. A bad album, monotonous, bland, and repetitive, characterized by obscene lyrics devoid of meaning over distorted and as trivial guitar riffs as never before. A real headache.
