An interesting debut for an act that has never received the recognition it deserves. Acheron find themselves adding to the vast American Death Metal underground, despite having a career spanning over twenty years and a respectable discography. This first effort shows us a band determined in the stylistic direction to take, focused on the heaviness of the arrangements rather than on the speed of execution.
