Popol Vuh: In den Gärten Pharaos

The Title Track barely stirs the murky waters, making its way upstream on that barge from Apocalypse Now: the heavy air, desolate blood-red shores, drums and increasingly distant screams. Florian Fricke was able to anticipate that encounter with horror years in advance, solely through sound.
