Leo McCarey: La Guerra Lampo Dei Fratelli Marx
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Together with A Night at the Opera, the best of the best of Marxian comedy.
Living Colour: Livid
CD Audio I have it ★★★
Successful blend of metal and funk, but inferior to the subsequent Time's Up.
Love: Four Sail
CD Audio I have it ★★★
Good, but they did better with the first three LPs.
Love: Da Capo
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
A step away from the masterpiece, psychedelic and multifaceted.
Love: Love
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Sincere and direct, with beautiful melodies and successful compositions (and covers).
Love: Forever Changes
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Luciano Salce: Fantozzi
DVD Video I have it ★★★★★
The best of the best of Italian comedy, alongside a few others. Immortal

Fantastic, until Fantozzi retires, and it's unmissable; then there are some little nonsense to keep the (anti) myth alive, but the first 5 for me are splendid, with the brilliant ending of Fantozzi's retirement literally closing the circle.
Luciano Salce: Il Secondo Tragico Fantozzi
DVD Video I have it ★★★★★
Very high level, very high
Lucio Battisti: Emozioni
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
A notch above many at the time, with a non-trivial musicality that draws from beat, symphonic pop (Procol Harum?) and something progressive, while still remaining anchored to a fairly straightforward singer-songwriter style.
Lynyrd Skynyrd: Second Helping
CD Audio I have it ★★★
Lynyrd Skynyrd: Street Survivors
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
M. Night Shyamalan: E venne il giorno
DVD Video I have it ★★★★
Underrated, a beautiful work on paranoia and the impotence of the unknown.
M. Night Shyamalan: Il Sesto Senso
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
For once, success and quality go hand in hand, thank goodness.
M. Night Shyamalan: Unbreakable
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Perhaps his masterpiece. 4.5
M. Night Shyamalan: The Village
DVD Video I have it ★★★★★
Undervalued by too many
M. Night Shyamalan: Signs
DVD Video I have it ★★★
Good ideas for a somewhat anonymous realization
A hole... in the water.
Mario Monicelli: Amici Miei
DVD Video I have it ★★★★★
Ruthless
Martin Scorsese: Toro Scatenato
DVD Video I have it ★★★★★
One of the peaks of American cinema
Martin Scorsese: Taxi Driver
DVD Video I have it ★★★★★
To the top of American cinematography of all time
Martin Scorsese: The Departed
DVD Video I have it ★★★★★
In my opinion, a masterpiece.
Martin Scorsese: Shutter Island
CD Audio I have it ★★★
One of the worst Scorsese movies

Mmmsi, but I prefer it to The Aviator, The Color of Money, and things like that. But yeah, it’s one of the worst. At least good job Di Caprio.

Here, The Aviator is where it should be seen, bought months ago and still not watched. The Color of Money is perhaps the most "useless" Scorsese :)
Martin Scorsese: Gangs Of New York
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
"The missed masterpiece of the greatest living American director" (cit.)
Martin Scorsese: Il Colore Dei Soldi
DVD Video I have it ★★
He has (done) much better.
Martin Scorsese: Re per una notte
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Extraordinarily brilliant comedy
Matching Mole: Little Red Record
CD Audio I have it ★★★
Mazzy Star: She Hangs Brightly
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Extraordinary voice for a "ghostly" group
Mazzy Star: So Tonight That I Might See
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Another masterpiece, a bit less immediate than the previous one. 4.5
MC5: Kick Out The Jams
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Grandfather of punk, and even more devastating than his grandson.
Megadeth: Youthanasia
CD Audio I have it ★★
Megadeth: Risk

Miles Davis: Greatest Hits

Minchia means I don't know. 5! Come on!

I understand little about jazz; I tried with Davis, although for now I prefer Mingus! I also have the famous cerebral Bitches Brew that I still need to listen to...

That is another thing. That is Jazz-Rock in its original and pure form. And it’s challenging.

Oh well, then I also have a cheesy "best of" by Davis, and yeah, that one puts me to sleep... maybe I'm not a N.A.T.O. plasterer.

But what a best of! You don’t take the best of Davis! Bitches Brew is tough at first, but then it reveals itself for what it is: a revolutionary and groundbreaking work. I wouldn’t even know how to describe the feelings it gives me. Anyway, try the previous "In A Silent Way" (already a pioneer of Jazz-Rock but completely different from Bitches, it’s the opposite) and in general the albums from '63-'68. And of course A Kind of Blue, which is THE classic and should be listened to at least once :)
