Blown off the dust after a few years. What can I say... it’s like reconnecting with an old girlfriend who’s become even hotter during the time you weren’t together!! Damn, what an album!!!

It took me so much time, really a lot of time, to appreciate it. Countless times in the past I would start listening to it and then I would take it off. Now it's on repeat!!!

the best records have this effect. first disgust, then unconditional love. be wary (though not always) of records that grab you right away.

I usually comment on the album using a phrase from a former Debaser user: "One of the ten commandments of Rock." Quote: Lewis Tollani. I fully endorse this statement... SOMETHING I LEARNED TODAY...(screaming)...

Same here. At first, I didn't understand all this praise, but then over time it grew on me. Can you believe it happened to me the same way with Daydream Nation!
And I don't know what to do, now that pink has turned to blue...

Mm.. it didn't grab me much on the first listen, but already on the second...

Beautiful beautiful beautiful. The first time with Zen Arcade was on a bus to Paris, a solo trip, on a terrible MP3 player and with two awful earbuds. I don't know why, but it's a nice memory.

never heard it, but judging by your enthusiastic comment, I’ll have to catch up on that as soon as possible. I experienced the same thing with 'A pleasant shade of grey' by Fates Warning, simply immense.

Well, it's definitely far from what I'm used to listening to, even though I've broadened my horizons quite a bit in recent years. Anyway, dear perfect element, given your avatar, I believe we have quite a lot in common, so you might like it.

The best image to describe this album is that of a brute who immobilizes you and forcefully keeps your head underwater for half an hour... A sick, visceral, suffocating masterpiece. Rating: 9

Yes, what a great year '91 was. Besides that, there are Just For A Day, Frigid Stars, Spiderland, Loveless, Laughing Stock, Slow Deep And Hard, Selling The Seas Of Cheese, and Yerself Is Steam!

And Steady Diet For Nothing by Fugazi. Of course, I agree with all the titles you mentioned (special praise for Loveless). I listened to Frigid Stars once, and it emotionally overwhelmed me. I'm afraid to listen to it again.
