I won't comment on the positions, of course there are some I personally don't agree with, others I would disintegrate with a flamethrower, but for the most part, they're all amazing titles, some (many) of my all-time favorites. Beautiful.

No.. well... I need to reconsider the positions calmly. Which ones would you disintegrate??

Well, I’m not really interested in the rankings anyway, aside from the fact that it’s a subjective list, and I’m more curious to see what you’ve included. Those I would disintegrate? Starting from the bottom, Stregata dalla luna (I-can't-stand-Cher and even Gabbia isn’t exactly top-notch—even if she sometimes gets it right—but not here :D) Traffic (...) A.Beauty, and maybe This Must be the Place, and that’s it. But there are others (maybe even good ones) that I wouldn’t have included in a list of the best films, and others that should have been there but aren’t, but that’s obvious.

Come on...Traffic is cool...the truth is I would have liked to include other titles too, but the damned database won't allow me.

No, it’s not for me, just like everything about him. Did you want to include other titles by Sodomizzerberg or just these 98? ;)

Something like "Nuovo cinema paradiso" shatters my balls like all the Tornatore films (except for the excellent Stanno tutti bene and Una pura formalità). Coppola's Dracula (which is a good film anyway) does the same thing, but that's more my fault because I've seen it about twenty times since I was twelve (and it hasn't held up as well as other films I've watched multiple times), at least there are Oldman and Waits who are worth the "ticket price." I wouldn't have included Scarface even though in the end it's a great guilty pleasure. I would have included, sticking with the classics, Casino by Scorsese, which I don’t think is here. I would never have included Django and the Bastards. I would have chosen something a bit more "dated" ;) But overall, I agree with many of the titles.

Casino is beautiful, but I've always found it too similar to Goodfellas, and between the two, I prefer the latter. I would have liked to complete the ranking with The Crying Game by Neil Jordan, In the Name of the Father by Jim Sheridan, and Contact by Zemeckis... but I don’t know how to add titles that aren't included in the reviews.

You can't and we take it in the ass :D "In the name of the father of Jim Sheridan" Great film. "Casino is nice but I've always found it too similar to Goodfellas and between the two I prefer the latter." There's no doubt that Goodfellas is better. However, all this similarity (and I still don’t understand what the problem is in this case ;) I don’t see it in the almost documentary-style direction, in Pesci's character, in the collaboration with Pileggi, for sure. And undoubtedly, they are two films connected to each other, a sort of "bilogy" broken only by the costume masterpiece of 1993. But Casino is much slower, more grandiose, Goodfellas has a rhythm, a speed, an innovative force that Casino lacks, and that makes the latter slightly inferior but at the same time also quite different at least in some aspects (the storyline first and foremost, very different). Pozzo, listen a bit, can't we find a little place for that rough masterpiece that is Mean Streets?

Uh, then you're lucky I'm going, otherwise I would have started bugging you right away to convince you to see it. The rawest, most sincere, and probably autobiographical film by Scorsese, the young De Niro and Keitel are monstrous here. Okay, you know what to watch now :D Bye well, have a good evening.

Anyway, you can do everything. Pretend to write a review, write the author's name and then the title of the work... then instead of continuing and writing the review, click on the work you just uploaded to the database and add it to the ranking, and that's all there is to it. "La moglie del soldato" is a fantastic movie.

Beautiful and lengthy ranking. To make a point, if you include a western film like Django Unchained, then it’s almost obligatory to add a western film by Sergio Leone.

Yes... in fact... The Good, the Bad and the Ugly or Once Upon a Time in the West... I just need to figure out which one I prefer. I should also revisit Unforgiven by Eastwood.

So many beautiful films, there are some that I don't like, but that's normal. I find Magnolia terrible, it does a disservice to "Nashville" by Altman, but the rain of frogs is well done. (even though it draws from the earthquake in Altman's film) I also can't digest Lars Von Trier, but that's personal taste. Overall, I think it's really beautiful.

Thank you, beautiful Lauretta... The thing is, I haven't seen America Oggi. I adore the director of Magnolia (see Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood above all), and frankly, I know Altman little. I'll catch up on that and maybe I’ll include it.

Well, for me Altman is one of the greatest of all time. I'll just mention a few titles among many: The Fortune Cookie, The Long Goodbye, MASH, Nashville, and of course, Short Cuts, which perfectly weaves together some of Carver's stories. The difference with Magnolia lies precisely in the depth of the stories. I'll leave out several that deserve mention. Bye.

The one that is in twelfth place I would at least put on the podium.

Absolutely agree with number 1 on the list. Some have compared it to Proust's Recherche, and I share that opinion. For the rest, of course, it’s a matter of personal taste. I, for example, adore Big Fish, which you also place quite high, and for me, it's among the top ten: pure cinema.
