    Venditti was a true artist, up until '79 or thereabouts. Of course, today it's hard to feel pity for him, given that the subject is in free fall (actually, no, he's really hit rock bottom now) and also considering the indescribable crap with which he fills his albums. For me, at the top was Marco Carta.

    Look Mat, I saw him on TV for two seconds last night, he sang a song that was nothing short of unbearable, and I'm being diplomatic...! In my opinion, an artist with a shred of pride would avoid all this. The Pino Daniele of today, compared to him, is Mozart, is that enough for you? :))))

    so he’s not an artist... he’s rather someone with a bit of talent when he was young, who in old age sells records in the bargain bins at rest stops... and even on sale!

    I agree with @Matteo. However, it's hard to find anything worse than Carta, Scanu, and D'Alessio.

    I agree 100%. I only save a couple of songs from the first Zucchero and 2 songs from the first Venditti (and also something scattered from Baglioni, who, however, manages like no one else to bore me to tears).

    So much honorable crap, even though 5 or 6 of them (mostly elderly), exploring some sections of their discography, have left behind some excellent works.
