  Clash? Dead Kennedys? Ramones? Black Flag? Minor Threat? Bad Religion? Rancid? Seeing Rise Against in the same ranking as Sum 41, Green Day, and Blink 182 is chilling. Ignite are a good band but certainly not better; the same goes for The Offspring (the first four albums are great, then they lost their way). Rise Against, despite being my favorite band, are not the greatest, or at least not third. I won’t comment on the last three (especially the sixth) which would rank among the worst.

  As I wrote, I listed the ones I know... The ones you mentioned I only know by name or just a few songs. I'm much more passionate about 70s rock; I know very little about punk (the real thing)! Sooner or later I’ll listen to the bands you mentioned too ;)

  Goodness, if they’re not the worst, they're pretty close. At least when it comes to 90s and 2000s bands, seeing the total absence of punk '77 is a blow to the heart.
