    The only album worthy of this ranking is Bon Iver's. The Strokes' album is decent. The rest is pretty lackluster. Verdena scream a lot and make a racket, but they're neither the Stooges nor Sonic Youth.

    Of course, they have nothing to do with the S or the SY, it was a provocation... anyway, you even dug up Paul Simon, the album is nice but really, nothing better came out in 2011? I suggest you listen to, for example (just one randomly), John Grant's ("Queen of Denmark") or, I don’t know, try out the Arcade Fire. But Paul Simon, no!!!

    Sure. :D For me, a song like "Breaking All Illusions" (from the latest D.T. release) outshines the whole Opeth album – and even Wilson's.
