    Sure... Verdena... but not the Ministers, huh?

    Listen, ozziousborn, fakes like you don't even make me laugh, and unless the greatest Italian music critic is hiding behind your pseudonym (which I strongly doubt), I want to give you some advice: why don't you go smear your nonsense on the little pages of your summer homework before coming to tell me who should be in MY f*cking 2011 ranking? Goodnight, kid.

    ...and then speaking of MINISTERS it seems to me that we’re not doing so well :))))))

    But the ministers haven't published anything this year.

    These Gomito, I have to listen to them... They say they are quite Peter Gabriel, in style. (W Wilson!)

    listen to the first two - then either you tell them to fuck off or you’ll love them big time - sure, it’s not something to listen to all the time - they are the illegitimate children of peter gabriel. true...

    The only album worthy of this ranking is Bon Iver's. The Strokes' album is decent. The rest is pretty lackluster. Verdena scream a lot and make a racket, but they're neither the Stooges nor Sonic Youth.

    It's clear that you've listened well, the latest from Verdena...well done - and then your comparison with the Stooges and SY is completely out of place.

    the rest is just a little bit...but who are you? Ezio Guaitamacchi?

    Of course, they have nothing to do with the S or the SY, it was a provocation... anyway, you even dug up Paul Simon, the album is nice but really, nothing better came out in 2011? I suggest you listen to, for example (just one randomly), John Grant's ("Queen of Denmark") or, I don’t know, try out the Arcade Fire. But Paul Simon, no!!!

    Arcade Fire? Great... like a laxative...

  • The latest from Dream Theater, right? ;)

    but also no!

  • Sure. :D For me, a song like "Breaking All Illusions" (from the latest D.T. release) outshines the whole Opeth album – and even Wilson's.

    Thank you, I will definitely listen, even though I really struggle with them... ;)

    @radio: didn't you like grace?

  • @progge: ahahah, no. I just wanted to annoy the owner of this classic - whom I suspected was not a fan of Dream Theater. :D
