Mother! You're one of the few who liked it. Haneke a bit of routine but not bad. the rest excellent. I miss Suburbicon.

I'm not on this list because I'm not in the database, but in 2017 I really enjoyed "The Other Side of Hope" by Kaurismäki, which was both touching and funny at the same time, "Lucky" by Carroll Lynch featuring Harry Dean Stanton in his last performance, which was amazing, and then there's what I believe is the best film of last year (for now, I still have plenty to see), which is "The Killing of a Sacred Deer" by Lanthimos. I’ll also add "El Bar" by De La Iglesia and "1922," adapted from the eponymous short story by King.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer is purely one of the best for me, along with Blade Runner, Lady Bird, Molly's Game, and a few others. Kaurismaki annoyed me. El Bar and Lucky are both approved. Speaking of Lucky, Logan Lucky is a Soderbergh film that's as entertaining as we haven't seen in a while.

Yes, I saw Logan Lucky, a good heist movie, amusing. I skipped "Lady Bird" because it seemed a bit too sentimental and crowd-pleasing... Another Netflix film that I didn't mind at all is "I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore," of course we're in the b-movie realm.
