Edward Bunker (1933–2005) was an American author whose crime novels and memoirs draw on his extensive experience in reform schools and prisons. He also worked in film as a screenwriter and actor.

Born December 31, 1933; died July 19, 2005. His novel No Beast So Fierce was adapted as the film Straight Time (1978). He appeared as 'Mr. Blue' in Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs (1992).
