In 1992, important events occur that, for better or worse, will affect the economic, social, and political path of our country. The plot of the events of that time is told by the man who was the subject of media mockery for several months between 2007 and 2009: Gioacchino Genchi.

Who is he?

Since joining the police, he has directed several offices (the Telecommunications Zone for Western Sicily, the Anti-Crime Unit for Western Sicily, the Interregional Electronic Center of Palermo, etc.). Since 1996, he has served as a technical consultant to the judiciary in important investigations and criminal trials.
An expert manager and manipulator of phone records, he holds the unusual and vital role of extracting wiretaps which repeatedly involve politicians, entrepreneurs, judges, prominent figures in high finance, SISDE agents, etc..

With that being said, the events narrated are set against the backdrop of a continuous and linear dialogue between the book's author and Gioacchino.
It is from here that every possible clue is unraveled to make clear and evident the real motivations that led to the birth of the second republic. Starting with Giovanni Falcone and his two electronic agendas, the careful harm to Borsellino that reveals a series of disturbingly compelling clues linked to Monte Pellegrino and the Utveggio Castle, where the CERISDI (Center for Research and Managerial Studies and a diamond point in managerial training in the public and private sectors) is located, and where obscure relationships are drawn between figures linked to the Masonic environment (Sandro Musco), high-ranking Mafia bosses (Scotto), and SISDE agents.
Of the famous State/Mafia pact that sees Don Vito Ciancimino as an intermediary, imposing and consecrating the definitive birth of the MAFIA S.P.A.
The reason for the peremptory and determined entry into politics of Silvio Berlusconi and the real motivations for the birth of Forza Italia (the roots of which are to be placed in Sicilian soil).

As you proceed with the reading, the thick plots linked to each individual investigation seem to unravel independently and disconnected from one another; in reality, in the end, you understand that this is nothing more than a large mosaic where one piece integrates perfectly with another. You realize that Calabria is both the hub and generator/catalyst of a give-and-take transversal nature that features a character rarely mentioned in the media arena, Saladino, president of the Compagnia delle Opere del Sud.
He is the personification of a hub from which branches grow that touch the judiciary, finance, entrepreneurs, and 'ndrangheta in the Calabrian territory, etc.

From here, the strange affair linked to the granting of UMTS licenses and the birth of the Blu Consortium is recounted (whose premature death has always raised more than a few suspicions), of which the president is Mr. Giancarlo Elia Valori; another hub around which judges, financiers, SISDE agents, etc., seem united by a transversal nature of contiguous interests.
The Telecom-Sismi scandal, concerning the illegal wiretaps carried out by some security executives of Telecom Italia; centered around Fabio Ghioni's "tiger team" and the arrest of a former lieutenant colonel of the ROS of the Carabinieri, Angelo Jannone, accused alongside the technicians of the tiger team of online intrusions and conspiracy aimed at the illicit acquisition of information.
A transversality aimed at maintaining a status quo that, if threatened, is immediately protected if jeopardized by overly bold magistrates.
The cases of the Poseidone and Why Not investigations make clear the relationship of friendship between those investigating and those being investigated; agreements are reached over dinner with good food.
Finally, with the latest investigations, Genchi manages to trace the connections showing Finmeccanica linked to criminal environments; in particular, he wittily and attentively tells us about the birth of Telespazio, strongly desired by Giancarlo Elia Valori.
The relationships with high-profile Sicilian bosses bring us back to what happened in 1992 to the famous State/Mafia pact that gave life to that round of contracts now in the hands of important criminal authorities in Calabria and Sicily.

From this great melting pot of Freemasonry, Mafia, and political class, an Italy polluted in spirit and mind is described, an Italy whose ruling class directly expresses a disregard for public affairs by the Italians, both by nature and by disinformation desired by those who have built their empire out of our ignorance.
Reading this book is a moral duty, to be able to live the present with greater critical spirit and to begin acting with the dignity of people who want to change a country now increasingly mired in mud.
