Edgar Broughton Band

British underground rock group from Warwick, formed by brothers Edgar (vocals, guitar) and Steve Broughton (drums) with Arthur Grant (bass). Signed to Harvest Records, produced by Peter Jenner, they played major festivals such as Hyde Park and Glastonbury. Their album “Sing Brother Sing” reached UK #18 in 1970, while the self-titled 1971 ‘meat album’ peaked at #28. Known for politicized lyrics, free concerts, and a blend of blues, psychedelia, and hard rock.
