A 2007 DeBaser review by renémartin celebrates the 1968 Eddy Louiss Trio album as a "Masterpiece." The review highlights the trio lineup (Eddy Louiss on organ, René Thomas on guitar, Kenny Clarke on drums) and praises interplay, tempos and solos. The reviewer connects this work to later collaborations (Dynasty, Stan Getz) and repeatedly lauds René Thomas.

For:Jazz listeners, organ aficionados, fans of 1960s jazz trios

this album is a Masterpiece, with a capital "M", without mincing words, and you can/must get it with your eyes closed.
