LA RECENSIONE

There are many ways to feel chills down your spine: the page of a book, the scene of a thriller, the evolutions of a solo. Or you can follow in awe this film that documents, as much as Gomorrah and more, the environmental disaster caused by organized eco-criminality in Campania.

Not a foolish reality show, but the raw and naked reality vomited onto the viewer. Livestock culled, polluted crops, the pillars of the Campanian economy on its knees. All in the name of easy profits from the illegal disposal of toxic waste coming from all over Italy. A politically very incorrect narrative, for this reason relegated to secondary circuits. Yet it deserves to be disseminated with the utmost attention in schools, where the society of tomorrow is growing.

Because Campania is only the tip of the iceberg. Under the surface of an increasingly murky water, there is a universe of collusions between wrongdoing and politics that kills more than Kalashnikovs, indiscriminately attacking the territory with all its resources.

If at the end of this film you feel a surge of rebellion, it means that Italy can still be saved.
