Here we go again! These "old guys" keep making music, and what music!
Duran Duran have the undeniable ability to churn out beautiful songs that always feel fresh and full of appeal. After Paper Gods, the funky synth-pop album (a sales and audience success), with Invisible they return to the acid rock melodies of Rio (1982) and All You Need Is Now (2010) which, for many, myself included, can only be a great promise of what's to come for fans worldwide on October 22, 2021, the release date of "Future Past," the highly anticipated album produced by Erol Alkan, Mark Ronson, and Giorgio Moroder; the latter will certainly be producing 3 tracks with a dance imprint.
Roger Taylor's heavy drums and Brian Cox from Blur's gritty guitar perfectly complement Lebon's voice, who is in great shape. The song captures you from the first listen because the verse, chorus, and bridge are really well structured, sung, played, and produced. In short, a great song that will be accompanied by a video premiered worldwide on YouTube today (May 19, 2021, at 4:00 PM).
