Drudkh is a Ukrainian black metal band led by Roman Saenko with members including Thurios and Amorth. Known for atmospheric, nature‑infused black metal that incorporates folk and ambient elements, they have released a steady sequence of albums since the early 2000s.

Members mentioned in reviews: Roman Saenko, Thurios, Amorth; earlier percussion by Yuriy Sinitsky. Reviews note use of Ukrainian folk instruments, lyrics inspired by Ukrainian pagan literature, and that the band seldom gives interviews and historically did not run an official website.

Reviews emphasize Drudkh's atmospheric, nature‑infused black metal and strong emotional impact. High praise is given to Autumn Aurora, Blood In Our Wells and Microcosmos. Handful Of Stars is noted as a stylistic turn toward post‑rock/shoegaze influences and received mixed reactions. Their acoustic Songs Of Grief And Solitude is highlighted for its stark, folky mood.

For:Fans of atmospheric/pagan black metal, folk‑influenced metal, and listeners open to post‑black and experimental shifts.

With this work, Drudkh definitively abandon the Black Metal shores, explored with dedication and much personality until that point, to adhere to a certain trend that has now taken hold in extreme metal in recent times: that is, to inbreed the (post-)Black of the latest generation with flashes of post-rock, shoegaze and various rubbish that I highly appreciate.
