THE REVIEW

After the first 3 (phenomenal) studio albums by Dredg, what else could we expect but a fantastic Live album??

Simply titled "Live At Fillmore", the album features the best tracks (and there are many) composed from 1999 to 2006.

With great executive and technical precision typical of only the greatest groups, we are offered one after the other, in a truly thrilling sequence, Bug Eyes, Ode To The Sun and Same Ol Road, songs composed of sounds and majestic rhythms filled with artistic flair that we rarely get to experience.

The album continues, without diminishing in intensity at all, with Sanzen and the rhythmic patterns of Triangle to open up to the power of Tanbark Is Hot Lava.

Other tracks follow, in my opinion, some of the best songs heard since the start of the new millennium, Whoa Is Me, Not That Simple, Catch Without Arms, and Sangreal which leave the listener almost dazed.

The album concludes with an excerpt from the first album, Yataheze, which fades into a literally dizzying finale.

A must-have.
