Doom:vs

Doom:VS is a funeral doom music project conceived in 2006 by Johan Ericson (known from Draconian). Ericson performs most instruments and vocals on the released material, notably the album Aeternum Vale.

The project is described as funeral doom with gothic atmospheres, prominent keyboard and piano parts, very slow, long tracks (review notes songs average around ten minutes) and deep growled vocals. The review compares aspects to Shape of Despair, Skepticism, Morgion, Anathema and Candlemass.
