Domboshawa is the solo project of Stockholm-based musician Anders Broström. Named after Domboshawa mountain in Zimbabwe, the project produced a 2016 cassette (Dark Lights) on Ljudkassett! and subsequent LPs Minds Electrix and Bejond Zero on Drone Rock Records. A double LP pairing Vibrations with Bejond Zero was discussed; collaborations with drummer Stefan Jakobsson have been mentioned.

Anders Broström launched Domboshawa after the end of his involvement with Amaxa. He records with a high degree of freedom, often improvising and rarely using overdubs; he has said he currently does not plan to add sung parts. Labels associated: Ljudkassett! (cassette release Dark Lights) and Drone Rock Records (Minds Electrix, Bejond Zero). Vibrations was released digitally (2017) and was planned to be reissued on a double LP with Bejond Zero. Live work and a possible new collaboration with drummer Stefan Jakobsson (Snowy Dunes) were discussed in the available interview.

Domboshawa is the solo project of Swedish musician Anders Broström, inspired by a trip to Domboshawa mountain in Zimbabwe. Early cassette Dark Lights (2016) was released on Ljudkassett!, later LPs Minds Electrix and Bejond Zero were issued by Drone Rock Records. Plans mentioned include a double LP pairing Vibrations (digital 2017) with Bejond Zero and a possible collaboration with drummer Stefan Jakobsson.

For:Fans of psychedelic rock, drone and Swedish psychedelia; collectors of underground/limited releases.

Domboshawa is something Anders works on freely from any scheme and conditioning and that soon, according to what he tells us, could evolve into something different with the collaboration of a drummer (Stefan Jakobsson from Snowy Dunes).
