THE REVIEW

This is how I see it: today it doesn't make sense to believe in guiding labels, guidelines, "great powers." I seek truth through an approach, I find it in the little things. And it's from the little things that flowers bloom (some say from the crap, but I stopped believing in that a while ago).

The mitigating factors in this first LP by Distanti are all there: the secretive spirit of Triste, those guitars that seem to have frozen time in 1994, a subversive and abrasive sincerity; but it's the form, even more, that enchants and leaves you stunned.

Nine breathtaking tracks, torn souls and that post Squirrel Bait attitude so dear to those who left their hearts in Jade Tree and Ebuillition catalogs.
