First of all, it is important to specify which Disgorge we are talking about, since there are four around the world: the Swedish Disgorge, the Dutch grindcore Disgorge, the famous American Disgorge, and the Mexican Disgorge, which is responsible for this album released in 2006.

Compared to their American counterparts, the Mexicans play a more traditional brutal death metal with less 'slam', but they do so in a personal way and demonstrate that besides the name, they are not the Latin copy of the American counterpart.
After the classic intro containing horror movie samples (as in brutal tradition), you are immediately thrown into the vortex of guitars and drums, which are never boring thanks to the alternation of pure outbursts and more paced moments, sudden slowdowns and accelerations, and the great inventions of the drummer who willingly performs 'solo' parts in the middle of the songs.

Excellent work of the guitars that continuously churn out riffs and create a wall of sound, capable also of slowing down and becoming melodic, not disdaining even some small tremolo picking solos as the brutal tradition dictates.
Unfortunately, the bass is typically overshadowed by the rest of the instruments, and can be heard clearly only for a small interlude in "Chronic Corpora Infest". The vocals present the now classic alternation of scream and growl, which unfortunately in some parts is almost overshadowed by the instruments. This is due to a not very good production, which however fits the genre played and the sound of the group.

Noteworthy is the use of synths as in "Cadaveres" to give that touch of atmosphere often missing in this genre of disks, and the leap forward made on the cover, after the usual banal images of gutted corpses and dead fetuses that characterized their early works.
