There are formations that, after one album, have nothing more to say.
Perhaps because, with that album, they have already said everything or perhaps because, having touched the deepest limits of being, they prefer not to add anything else.
For this reason, in fact, it was a difficult endeavor to write something about dISEMBOWELMENT, one of those endeavors that try to put a mystical experience (unique and unrepeatable) into words.
Yet, with the limitations of such a case, I tried and tried again to jot down a few words about this "Trascendence Into The Peripheral".
dISEMBOWELMENT: an Australian formation born in 1989 and led by the singer/guitarist, of Italian origins, Renato Gallina.
Seven long, tormenting, dreamlike, and surreal panels of Doom-Death, enriched by atmospheres that, for simplicity, I will limit myself to define as "gothic".
Funereal slowness, deep and distressing growl, sudden accelerations and notes that travel through astral or sidereal planes.
Doom as God (or the Ayn Sof) commands.
Doom that doesn't taste of hazy "stoner" nor of pseudo-melancholic syrup (meaning the whining whininess).
Everything is felt, everything is true, everything is filled with experiences beyond the ordinary. Believe me: it is so.
