How do you comment on a live performance of this caliber? Overwhelmed by emotions and past experiences, more or less distant, which you more or less regret...

Here, I found it. The music of the celestial group in question makes you think about your mistakes, memories of beautiful and unreachable women (and perhaps beautiful for that reason), unique drunken nights with friends, and even silly things that (in hindsight) you could have avoided… If you close your eyes during Sara's voice and Dustin's sound, this is what comes to mind. I approach the show with "The star of Saint Andrea" almost by heart and with few listens to "Push the Heart", but I could have never heard them, because there is a clear sensation of a total embrace that involves everyone and holds us tight for a good hour during which they unveil the candor of "Lie to me" in the guitars of "Distant Radio" and "In Your Room"... Sara's voice is overwhelming, the bass enters with its mixed guitar sound while Dustin alternates between the six strings and the keyboards (better on the latter). But the amazing thing is that the live performance maintains stellar rhythms, there's not the slightest sign of fatigue (unless you want to be picky during "Song for a Sleeping Girl" where they kind of mess up with the voices, making it sound instrumental), and it reaches its peak during "Heaven Please", the sweet lullaby, the joy and bane of the concert because then the lights go out and the dream ends... you come back to earth... I stop Sara to ask for the setlist, she hands it to me with a smile before being assaulted by people asking for a photo, an autograph... They smile tightly, but that's it: (you choose the ending)

a) the price one must pay for composing accessible music that engages everyone in the same way and with (deep) sincerity.

b) crappy fanaticism that doesn't respect the truth of their music, replaced even by settling for those forced little smiles, good only for the negative of a camera, rather than soothing themselves in memories.

"DAI SA' TORNIAMO A CASA. . . "

By the way, the setlist:

Lie to me
Distant radio
Red morning
Secret message
In your room
Just one breath
I broke you
Song for a sleeping girl
The end and the beginning
Heart and hands
Heaven please
Five seconds to hate you
