Objectively and subjectively, this is an album (I'm referring to the promotional copy of "D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N." circulated among industry insiders) unjudgeable.

Not because the musical value of the work is such (I don't know this and couldn't understand it), but because a violent and devastating forceful action has been taken on what the album originally was. And, for once (which further aggravates the situation significantly), it must be acknowledged that it’s a shared responsibility requiring several charges against the "wrongdoers", who in this case are the record label (namely AFM Records), but also the songwriters themselves, the Destruction (who in doing so - among other things - celebrate their 25 years of career in the best possible way...; it seems that in a quarter of a century they haven't understood anything, wanting to estrange themselves from the sonic context).

And the reason is quickly explained: eight out of a total of ten tracks have been marred with the now famous (for those accustomed to working with promos) "voice-overs". The amusing, or rather scandalous, part of the entire affair is that said "voice-overs", suggested by the label, are the vocal work of the band members themselves, who from time to time remind you what you are listening to, have the audacity to say "enjoy" (!!!???!!!), invite you to buy the album (we’re reaching insane levels of perversion), and try to treat you amicably using terms like "metalhead", "thrashers" or "headbangers" and so on.

And the music (specifically the thrash metal)? Evidently optional. For all this, there is only one expression (wanting to remain within the bounds of civil manners): shame on you!
