Daniel Myer is one of the greatest exponents of electro-industrial music, and his various projects (Haujobb, HMB, Architect) are very interesting. But it is especially with the Destroid project that Daniel has expressed himself at his maximum potential. The previous work, "Future Prophecies," was a concentrate of electronic music of the highest quality. Now, after three years, he is back with this "Loudspeaker." Let's say right away that this time the work does not disappoint either. The music offered is always that mix of electro-dark with strong dance potential, alternating with more challenging moments, derived from the strong Industrial and Techno influences that our Daniel has in his DNA.

The album starts with "Let Me Leave" a track of over seven minutes. I would have expected a much more impactful track to open the CD, but instead, Daniel surprises me by offering a very melancholic piece; imagine traveling on a train, a train that takes you away from your city, your friends, your love, and remembering them while the train takes you far away. This is the image that this song suggested to me. The next track "Bird of Prey" will surely be in the playlist of the darkest clubs. A song that takes us directly to the most danceable electro-dark atmospheres, yet not lacking the class that a musician like Daniel Myer has always possessed.

"Revolution" continues along these lines, however, accentuating the purely Techno side, a track with a sure impact. "Run and Hide" instead shifts the focus to Daniel's Industrial side, echoes of Skinny Puppy appear in this beautiful track. "Only a Vision" is the darkest track of the batch, with spectral and nocturnal keyboards, a pressing and square drum, serving as a backdrop to Daniel's voice that lowers to more gothic tones. In "As The World Turns" the beat comes back strong, as Techno and industrial components blend in perfect symbiosis, an impeccable track. But it is with the final blow "Mourn" that the CD reaches its peak. A stylistically perfect song, the various souls of Daniel's music unite in this gem of electronic music.

"Loudspeaker" surpasses in quality the previous "Future Prophecies," which was already excellent. The sound may have become less dark and there is greater attention to detail. In 14 Tracks, there isn't a single drop in tension. Album highly recommended to all lovers of electronic music, and good music in general.
