Erasure -The Innocents
Some tracks are also 5. more
Fabio Volo
the one is not to him but to all those who bought his "books". PORCAMADONNA ITALIANS OF SHIT! more
Toto -Toto IV
Toto: great musicians, excellent pop professionals, a respectable band, but personally they have never impressed me much, although they remain a very pleasant listen. This fourth album is a 3-4, a solid 3, some nice pop tracks, obviously well performed, and then there's here Peter Griffin Bless the Rains Down In Africa

Recommended?...Cunning ones?...something went wrong.... more
Comus
What a fucking group... more
Gigi Proietti
I've always found him likable, even when borrowed for the commercial stuff. more
Jethro Tull -A Passion Play
After 5 mind-blowing albums, the Jethro period begins to slow down; this is Anderson's most ambitious work both in lyrics and in music. While the lyrics are excellent, the album doesn't hold up at all compared to the previous "prog opera" of the Tull, losing all its freshness and, despite having its great moments, comes across as too heavy, boring, and meandering overall. A significant decline compared to the marvelous albums that came before. P.S.: Anderson here dabbles with the sax... more
Miles Davis
MD has meanwhile been a pipparuolo, a whoremonger, an erotomaniac, an alcoholic drug addict, but also a demolisher of jazz canons for a lysergic exploration towards extreme shores... more
Ennio Morricone
It makes no sense to compare him to Mozart or Beethoven; it's a completely different conception of music. The only comparisons that would hold (though they've never been made by anyone, by the way) would be with more modern composers or those who have ventured into his field, such as Prokofiev with Alexander Nevsky. more
Brian Eno
An enormous solo discography, Roxy Music, the Berlin trilogy with Bowie, the production of Talking Heads, Devo, David Byrne, should be enough to give him a 10 out of 5, then well, there are Coldplay... but let's just pretend they don't exist. more
John Campbell
This man carried the devil within him: John was the devil. A very brief career in Music, before hell claimed him; visceral blues, black as pitch...DEVIL IN MY CLOSET... more
Prince
A genius. The Frank Zappa of pop. Purple Rain is one of the most beautiful pop-rock ballads of all time. I see that it's somewhat underrated here, let's raise the bar a bit. more
The Mars Volta -Frances The Mute
Second album for the band in 2005 and an absolute center; a work that at times is excessively mixed in over seventy-five minutes of total Music. There are no barriers for the long-haired Omar and Zedric, supported by a large number of crazy and imaginative side characters (Mars) in turn. Bold and limitless: funk-hard-prog-jazz-metal with a Latin twist that surprises and requires continuous listens to reach a final judgment. Hendrix, Santana, Tool, and Jane's Addiction... VISIONARIES. more
Lady Gaga
Yes, but one must also be able to give them, the 1. The real problem is that with the squad they will have behind them here (there will be, I don't know, thirty people who are COMMITTED) they can't bring out anything of value. Saying that he can't sing or that he has the CUM SLINGER between his THIGHS is crude and useless. GOATS! GOATS! GOATS! CARREPRP! more
Yazoo -Upstairs at Eric's
But have you heard Alison Moyet's voice? I adore it...
And what about Vince Clarke? Such imaginative electronic... more
Deep Purple
If you point a gun to my head, I’ll say they are my favorite band. Unbeatable. They devour all hard rock and heavy metal bands, in fact, they use them as toothpicks after having eaten Led Zeppelin. more
Brian Eno
This man has done everything, too much, more than enough... But without him, what music would we listen to today? more
Elio e le Storie Tese
They may be crazy, but I've always thought they were terrible, just like I think Pippo Franco, Saturday Night Live (the Italian one), and Marco Carta are terrible. Am I an exception? Or ignorant, or a liar!! YOU TELL ME, RETEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE more
Pink Floyd -The Dark Side Of The Moon
A jewel in music, sound, structure, and concept; with a grand opening and ending, just like in the best movies. more
Joy Division -Closer
Closer is released just a few weeks after Ian's suicide; an album that becomes a symbol of death, starting from its white and funereal cover. Everything hints at the end of earthly existence: the sounds, the lyrics, the production; an album that devastates deeply. A sequence of dramatic, gloomy tracks… A music that will still torment us for a long time; eternal return… forever. more
