An album to which I owe so much for my initial musical training, and to which I am infinitely linked. I still consider it a stylistically magnificent debut, with at least 4-5 sought-after but unfortunately forgotten gems ("My Fairy King" and "Doing All Right" among them). In short, hard-hitting Hard Rock with Progressive and Glam Rock influences and fantasy themes that will be so dear to certain later Heavy Metal. 8.5. more

The MASTERPIECE par excellence!! Black Dog, Rock n Roll (my absolute favorite) and that song that even the stones know by heart, perhaps the most beautiful song ever, with the most beautiful solo of all time, the immense Stairway To Heaven.... I'll stop here, and I might just go listen to it again for the umpteenth time!!! more

The first CD I bought was in Terras Brasilis. Recorded with Suzano (a great innovator of the pandeiro), in Recife in 1994, it's already a classic of MPB. Leão Do Norte has become a Pernambucano anthem that everyone here knows how to sing. Without a doubt, one of the best Brazilian records of the last twenty years. more
