"Through The Barricades" is a masterpiece of a pop track. more
Yes -Close To The Edge
Peaks of emotion of the highest caliber and frequency... A beloved album from the very first listens. Musically sublime and accompanied by imaginative lyrics, in perfect Yes style. I’ll just add that the section of the title track "I Get Up, I Get Down" is worth 5 on its own. more
The Who -Tommy
If the rock "Pure And Easy" were to become a concept, it would have the face of a deaf, mute, and blind child. Then, of course, it would smash a guitar on stage. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, MAY I INTRODUCE YOU... THE WHO! more
Pink Floyd -Wish You Were Here
Ethereal masterpiece, sailing in its majestic sense of solitude. An absolute must! more
Coldplay -Parachutes
Remarkable album. Spies is a truly beautiful piece. more

Scott Cooper -Il fuoco della vendetta
A great cast wasted in a "revenge" movie twisted around stereotypes and political simplifications. Visually powerful, it stops at times to a schoolbook direction, and the screenplay doesn’t help Cooper. A film of names but not of ideas. (5.5) more
Arthur Penn -Bersaglio di notte
Penn uses genres again (here the noir) to overturn conventions and stylistic elements. The loser Gene Hackman is a private investigator who suffers like America in the early '70s. An emotionally empty film that gives very little in terms of pathos, but hurts in how it outlines the loneliness and ineptitude of its characters, with an exemplary ending that encapsulates all of this. The Cult -Love
Undisputed pinnacle of the Cult and a masterpiece of the 80s. Who hasn’t ever hummed the riff of Rain? more
The Who
If we don't give the highest marks to the Who, we're in trouble! more
Rocco Hunt
A fucking Neapolitan rapper urging people to "wake up"?? Illogical before it’s ridiculous... Set yourself on fire if you want applause... more
Umberto Eco
One of the greats of our culture. We will always be more alone and dominated by mediocrity without people like him. RIP (1932-2016). more
Jay-Z
Reasonable doubt, the blueprint, the black album... and some nice random crap. And Beyoncé. more
