Minutemen -What Makes A Man Start Fires?
But what record is this? How much stuff is there? The base is that of punk-hardcore, of course, and then there's a fragrant mix where Funk-Post-Punk touches Jazz touches Blues, and this time even the Rock/Rock Blues guitar of Boon is played and sung by everyone together, with the spicy seasoning of the sarcastic, indispensable invective of the lyrics, ironic mockeries that always put them a step above the other groups of the "genre" (but then, they are a genre apart anyway) just as the tremendous musical and instrumental creativity of Boon, Watt, and Hurley elevates them by another step. In short, above all. Immense. more

Chiara Artemisia M. Mazzeri
Artist with her first novel, academic researcher and seeker of the soul, and of souls. Restless, profound, intimate. You may like it or not, but there is no room for banality. more
Lucio Battisti -Amore E Non Amore
Great album, not perfect, the instrumentals are all excellent, very original "Una" and "Supermarket" are among my favorites by Battisti. Rating: 8 more
Litfiba -Eutopia
Mediocre album with 3-4 good tracks including "Santi di periferia" and "Straniero," some "nice" ones, and other songs that are rather tacky..... Rating: 6.5 more
Queen -News of the World
Maybe "Get down make love" and "Who needs you" spoil the album, "Sheer heart attack" is interesting but cacophonous for my tastes. The rest flows well, also thanks to the opening duo, namely "We will rock you" and "We are the champions." Not a masterpiece, but definitely an "excellent" pop-rock record. Rating: 7.5 more

Sufjan Stevens
Among the most poignant singer-songwriters of his generation. One who, in over 20 years of career, has managed to regenerate himself and explore new solutions with strong ambition and a predisposition for sonic research, reaching straight to the heart without ever resorting to cheap tears. Illinois alone is enough for the 5... and if a piece like Casimir Pulaski Day doesn't shake you to your core, I'm sorry for you. more
Killswitch Engage
Overrated and with the original sin of having paved the way for the most cliché chart metalcore of the early 2000s. In years when there were Poison The Well, Norma Jean, Everytime I Die, Glassjaw, not to mention trailblazers like Converge and Dillinger Escape Plan, there was absolutely no need for a proposal like theirs. more

Enrico Papi
I owe my "musical culture" to Sarabanda, from 1998 to 2003. I also enjoyed Papirazzo. His time has been over for a while now, and today he has declined to third-rate TV. more
