Absolutely masterpiece, an essential work that is ubiquitous in every discography and a famous soundtrack. The very young Mike Oldfield composes, performs, and amazes. more
Shall we talk about the cameo in the Blues Brothers? How much epicness in a single sequence! more
The last true great rock band. Also for how they messed everything up when they had the world at their feet. Of course, mine is a biased opinion, coming from someone who was a kid or barely more at the end of the 80s and the early 90s. But really, why should I be objective? Why should I make an effort to analyze them seriously? Screw objectivity, music has never been a serious thing for me. I put on Appetite, down a beer, and then I go take a piss. This is Rock. more

If anyone were to ask me for the definition of a consistent band that has almost never let its fans down, and has never resorted to commercialism, continually delivering great albums, the answer would be immediate: Running Wild! more
For me, he is great, both in Genesis and outside of it, and certain pieces like "In the Air Tonight," "Do You Remember," and "Another Day in Paradise" are beautiful tracks. more
If we consider the fact of numbers and influence, they remain, alongside Spandau and Culture Club, the most significant pop/new wave group of the '80s. But when it comes to talking about subjectivity... I definitely prefer other stuff. All in all, they’re pleasant, and they've managed to hit a few nice singles. more
Great composers of unforgettable melodies, rarely predictable. True masters of creativity. Whether they invented something more than others or less, who cares, their music still teaches today and they've never copied... more
I was just minding my own business when this Jesus comes along, touches me, and says, "You are healed!" But can't you ask first? I had a job in my hands, and now I'm on the street. Philanthropist of the piciu! more
Tomorrow is November, and with what is happening here and in the world, I don’t have pleasant thoughts. That’s why I’m sharing a story set in Venice during the flood of 1966, written many years ago to remember a friend I met at the Artistic High School of Venice. A high school we both attended, which for me was a beautiful, extraordinary, and unforgettable experience. However, as in all stories, there is always a grain of truth and a lot of invention and imagination. I wanted to write a book about it, but it remains unfinished; this is the first part. If you like it, I will also include other chapters; otherwise, they will remain locked in the memory of my computer. Still, I already know where the criticism will come from; so be it. more
