The latest albums don't appeal to me, and neither do the early ones. The ones in between (1990-1994) are definitely the best. I'd say three badass musicians and a super cool singer (who happens to be a black metal lover!). more

Musically, we are talking about an always very inspired, well-structured, and never trivial Heavy metal. The voice of the King can be loved or hated, but it is definitely very personal. His concept albums are true nightmares, worthy of the best European horror tradition from two centuries ago. The quality of his works is always high: in total 12, and aside from a couple of albums a bit below average (but still good albums), the rest is of excellent quality! Honor to the King! more

Anthony Phillips is remembered by many as the first guitarist of Genesis from their beginnings until the second album "Trespass," where his guitar style, closely tied to the use of the 12-string guitar (in tandem with Mike Rutherford), paved the way for Nursery Cryme with a demo of The Musical Box. He decided to leave Genesis to seriously dedicate himself to studying classical guitar. In '77, he released "The Geese & the Ghost," a delicate and fairy-tale-like album. He has recorded many instrumental albums in a similar new age style. more
