Among the millions of AC/DC clones, they are undoubtedly among the best, but they're still just clones and therefore don't deserve more than a few casual listens. more

try to bring together in one group three mad heads like those of peter brotzmann, sonny sharrock, and bill laswell... what will come out of it will be something absolutely sensational. the album "last exit" from 1986 is here to testify. more
One of the most original bands in the extreme scene, "Calculating Infinity" is one of the most important and spectacular debuts in recent years. The collaboration with Patton yielded the EP "Irony is a Dead Scene," which opened up new "melodic" horizons for the band. "Ire Works" is then a magnificent work. Brilliant. more

genius more for the artists he surrounded himself with in Mr. Bungle and Faith No More, rather than for any real personal merits. The second part of his career is enjoyable but forgettable (Fantômas, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom), and the latest "Mondo Cane" is a mess. But his fans will forgive him even this. The average Patton fan is a no less sweetened version of the average Vasco Rossi fan. Listen to the best things from his repertoire, but for the rest, don't get too carried away. more
immensely overrated by Italian listeners simply because they are Italian. The debut "Godlike Snake" is decent, but from there on they copy/paste the neurosis/electric wizard/sleep template with little personality. From "lucifer songs" onwards, they sound even more retro and dated than "Jerusalem" by Sleep, which came out in 1999, with no innovative drive whatsoever. The latest "eve" is the worst album they have ever made. more
