As a kid, I always thought, "between the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, I choose the Stones," mainly because the Stones seemed the angriest and dirtiest. The most rock 'n' roll, in short, just how I liked it. But the truth is that the Beatles, assuming the comparison can find a logical basis, were a notch above. However, the riff of "Brown Sugar" is Richards', and when you hear it, you come in your pants.
