Forerunner of Nietzsche, forerunner of Kafka and at least half of 20th-century literature, forerunner of Freud and psychoanalysis. Let us bow before the genius of this immense Russian soul. more
One with a voice like that could sing the TG1 theme and I’d be left speechless. And if she writes it too! A little more sprightliness wouldn't hurt. WELL DONE! more
Good musician, questionable character if not useless more
perhaps the best band of the American hard 'n' heavy scene of the 80s that everyone now claims to hate and thinks is mediocre because listening to them feels so "poser" more

Let's let him work!! He is INVINCIBLE, got it??!! more
It was "someone"... just like the "U2" were... now he and "they" are nothing but bullshit... just plastic. more
stoner to be handled with care, prolonged use might mess with your synapses... more
He invented slapping, and for that alone he deserves an eternal 5. Add to that his role as a cornerstone of Sly & The Family Stone, and then the rating becomes mere formality. more
"You know what I'm talking about, Jimi?!?" more
UNMEASURABLE. Too cool, too good, too much of a star, too much of an entrepreneur. Excessive in everything. And that voice... if he had written it himself, he would be the messiah. But still, he's not far from it. more

it's not all that bad, he's doing fine... more
He's not the only singer without a voice. He's not the only songwriter who writes terrible songs. But at least he knows a lot more about music than average, and he’s built an interesting persona practically from scratch. Live with Blu Vertigo, he rocked it (I saw them in '95). Very good at the piano, and an eclectic multi-instrumentalist. Pippa drugs? Who among them doesn't? At least in that regard, he's not "different" as he insists on appearing. more
It generates very clear opinions, and mine is positive, but it's a shame that his career has been a downward slope: I loved him madly in Bluvertigo, as a solo artist he was able to give us excellent things, but his foray into television may have ruined him for good. more
It's cool to give 5 to Frank Zappa. more

this is all bad, I don’t like it and it sings evil. more
“He’s a mischievous boy who would trample over anyone just to achieve success, crossing any boundary of decency. Looking at him now, alcohol and drugs dominate his life, and he has become a drugged clown. He used to be the smartest kid around. As a fan of his talent, I hope he gets his act together soon.” Just Trent’s words are enough to define Manson... The early stuff was great, but the rest is MTV trash. more
His voice is a scream of rage. An enigmatic character, but "real". Zero technique, but who cares; after all, often the rarest plants sprout where there's little fertilizer. And if it brings my pimples back, it's just good news. A GREAT ONE more
