Great debut season, 2nd season practically perfect, 3rd season excellent but you can already see some drop when the episodes focus on the romantic side (Leonard-Penny/Wolowitz-Bernadette) , 4th season, with invasive love plots, random use of various characters (Raj wandering aimlessly, Sheldon on the verge of becoming a caricature, Wolowitz now stuck in a storyline that has nothing to say), was painful. I still rate it a 5 with hope for a revival. more

I happened to listen to one of his interviews on RDS or a similar trash radio, I don’t quite remember: the host asks him, "Raf, can we still sing about love? Is there still something to say?" And he replies, "Of course you can, indeed, you must!" To which I think: "Yeah, sure, half a deflated sock, you have to talk about love; if you talk about politics, cooking, or philosophy, your average target audience won’t buy your crappy records..." more
