The first rock artist of darkness more
little to add....experimentation and depth....dance and thought, innovation and enjoyment more
Indeed... not at all. They played like gods (the solos of Salisbury are still impressive today, and I remember them note for note), and they left a mark, especially with their first albums... sure, they can't be compared to Sabbath, Purple, or Zep, but they were a great band, certainly with some naivety in the first album. more
Among the top 10-15 albums of Italian music. Perfect album. more
Great musician/multi-instrumentalist, good songwriter. One of the most deserving children of artists (even though obviously the father was on a whole different level). more
I say that if this bridge were to collapse, society would greatly benefit from it. more
Comprehensive and exhaustive more
Consistent, if anything more
Perfect....I couldn't have said it better. more
Dementia...correct it. more
I agree more
Great album, yes, but from his golden era, this one (personally) convinces me the least. I prefer all the previous ones and all the subsequent ones up to and including "Artide/Antartide." 3.5 rounded up. more
One of the trashiest and most useless characters of all time. more
Absolutely true... every phase of the group's history has its own reason... personally, I love Barrett even as a solo artist, but I wouldn't dream of saying that those Floyd "were better"... it means nothing. more
An excellent and forgotten band from Holland in the late sixties. Much better than a lot of Anglo-American fluff from the same period. The trio "At Home," "Scorpio's Dance," and "Third Album" is absolutely noteworthy. Catchy but high quality at the same time. Mariska Veres was truly sexy in both voice and appearance: A sort of Grace Slick from Holland. R.I.P. more
One of the greatest ever. He may have been an asshole, a piece of shit, but he remains a tremendous artist. more
I followed Bowie from 1973 through the impossible hustles of the early 80s (after Scary Monsters, which remains the last worthy one), and this is my favorite album. more
When I listened to this album in 1979, it was love at first listen! Too bad that after the second album, the music changed quite a bit and the compromises began. Understandable because, as I like to say: Art has no price, but artists have to eat! more
Well-written glam pop-rock. more
