Gianna Nannini
....I can't stand Russian choirs, FAKE ROCK MUSIC, Italian new wave, free jazz, English punk...THERE.

Unbearable fake rock, a completely off-key voice (listen to it live), a production of mediocre watered-down pop that tries to pass itself off as Italian rock with four screams and big guitars...unthinkable lyrics, irritating music, millions in abundance and even tax evasion...I've never found anything worthwhile, starting from California of '78, a blatant rip-off of a piece by The Who...a series of banalisms, my personal opinion of course, I know it has many admirers...to earn (and evade) millions of euros, it must have many...Italy is really America for some. more
Banco del Mutuo Soccorso -Garofano rosso
They were ahead. Concept album prog with psychedelic elements at times. It was 1976. more
Enzo Avitabile -Festa farina e forca
Once again, an album that brings us to the source of life, to the love for mankind and for the downtrodden humanity. more
David Lynch
"Cinema is a dream"; never before was a definition more true. more
David Lynch -Dune
As they wrote on the poster, a film truly beyond all imagination... for better or for worse. more
Antonello Venditti -Prendilo tu questo frutto amaro
I own the CD, but only for "discographic completeness." A true musical garbage, atrocious from every point of view. I mean, out of eight songs, there should be at least one, I say at least one semi-decent one... NO! A mess 360°. And the saddest thing is that this man is the same pen behind albums like "Le cose della vita" and "Lilly"... after this, I dared not spend money on him again, except for "Dalla pelle al cuore" in 2007. more
Che Dio ti benedica
Daniele delivered one last jab with "Musicante," then it was all about his craft, selling little nonsense records and occasionally a sly comeback. We gotta eat...
However, for what he gave us until then, we miss him every day. more
Giorgio Conte -Eccomi quà
The lesser-known brother of the international Paolo has grand talents as a chansonnier. Sharp, sometimes more ironic than his brother. "It's a gift from mom" deserves four stars on its own. :)) more
Pino Daniele -Vai mò
Pure enjoyment. Fairy-tale band. Perhaps Pino's last album to feature all beautiful songs. Perhaps... more
Ivan Graziani -I Lupi
Pure utopia to marry rock with lyrics (in Italian) and the traditions of the province. But Ivan Graziani succeeded. With this work and with "Agnese dolce Agnese." more
Ivan graziani -Ballata per Quattro Stagioni
Played with top-tier musicians, it is the work that began to make Ivan known. "La pazza sul fiume," "Il campo della fiera," and "Ballata per quattro stagioni" convey the essence of the genius Graziani well. more
Claudio Lolli -Dalla parte del torto
Splendid work by Claudio that contains two unpublished masterpieces: "Dalla parte del torto" and "Nessun uomo è un uomo qualunque." The only major flaw, probably dictated by the meager budget, is the dreadful arrangements by Diego Michelon. No bass, no drums. Just programming and keyboards. A heartless album. more
Claudio Lolli -Lovesongs
One of Claudio's latest albums that reinterprets some of his love songs. It’s a record against hate. Extraordinary Nicola Alesini on saxophones. more
Premiata Forneria Marconi -Live in U.S.A.
The only band to have entered the album charts in the famous American magazine Billboard. They played pure energy and now they are old foxes who know all the secrets of prog. "Alta loma five till nine" drives me crazy. I love them, but when I hear Di Cioccio sing, I always think of Francesco Di Giacomo. more
Ivano Fossati -Discanto
Perfect album, "musically" superior. Engaging and demanding lyrics :) with "Lunario di settembre" telling the story of a witchcraft sentence from the seventeenth century and the beautiful "Italiani d'Argentina." more
Roberto Vecchioni -Robinson, Come Salvarsi la Vita
A troubled Vecchioni released this beautiful album featuring the famous "Signor giudice," a spicy invective against the judiciary. And then the cover designed by Andrea Pazienza... more
Pino Daniele -Che Dio Ti Benedica
I've always found the title track terrible, but the rest of the album is quite enjoyable to listen to. It's definitely Daniele's last hurrah, speaking of (almost) whole records. 3.5 more
Francesco Guccini -Due Anni Dopo
Still sparse arrangements but songs that have made an impact. "Prague Spring," "For When It's Late," "Ophelia," "See Dear." more
Lucio Dalla -Lucio
Is it the same person who wrote "Futura" or "La sera dei miracoli" or "Nuvolari" or "Stella di mare"??? Except for "Yesterday or lady Jane?". more
