In the world of prog, they are the exact opposite of Emerson Lake & Palmer: the histrionic trio made the most of a few ideas, stretching them to the unbelievable, resulting in dullness and repetition but with plenty of "staging" to distract. The Camel are the opposite, full of musical ideas even within the same piece, but ultimately not very "clever." They share dreamy atmospheres with the Canterbury scene, but manage to explore other musical territories! more

The band founded by Donald in his youth. more

Anyway.
Until 1990, Minghi composed and arranged pop songs with a certain skill. Some lesser-known songs from that time are worth rediscovering (e.g., Rem, Telecomunicazioni Sentimentali, Sognami, Di Più, Flashback). Then he lost his way. Once he was established in the mainstream, he often settled into the comfort zone tracks for housewives. more
