5 for what he has done in the past, 2 for what he has been doing lately. So 3 rounded down. more
Rory, the blues more
I only give a vote to Rust in Peace and Peace Sells, after '94 they were practically done. more
The king of the tamarri, if he's from 4 Tozzi, is Robert Plant. more
Possessed genius, crazy enough to be tied to a chair...some pieces are so terrifying that they are genius! more
One of the many overrated duds in music history. Damn, in that tacky hat over all these years, he must have cultivated an entire colony of mushrooms, what am I saying, a legion! more
Until OK Computer, I adored them; after Scaruffi and their praise for the thief, I have frozen every judgment. Who am I supposed to believe now, them (-music) or someone who greets "his" son convinced it’s God?? more
The band of assholes more
The best, Happy Trails eats up so many useless discographies on its own. more
I would have never imagined that someone like Scaruffi would give a 7 to Pyromania.. bah XD more
if it weren't so (vaguely) snobby, it would be a perfect "sensual" object of mine more
There’s a colleague of mine who believes that Slash is the greatest guitarist of all time because he did what he did without "knowing the theory," meaning he didn’t study how to play. Do you know any guitarists like that, obviously a billion light years better? more
Carla Bruni is to the French what Equitalia is to the Italians. more
With "The Bends," they coined an honest and enjoyable alt-pop for mainstream rock palates, indebted to the Smiths and R.E.M. With "OK Computer," they took that product and adorned it with elaborate and grandiloquent arrangements, reaching what I believe is excellence in the single track "Paranoid Android." Here, they could have rested on their laurels by endlessly repeating the same album, but instead, they changed direction, giving birth to "Kid A" and "Amnesiac," and it is here that they distilled drops of magic. Underrated. more
Classy pop, if only we had bands like this today more
At a mediocre musical level, plus excessively overrated. A couple of tracks in the '90s, terrible in the '00s. more
Some tracks, taken individually, hit me, but I find the albums as a whole overrated and often filled with boring fillers (Amnesiac aside). Yorke sometimes ruins the tracks, he feels the need to be whiny. more
Without Steve Stevens and his role as a jack-of-all-trades, he would have stayed at home revving his Harley. Once the partnership ended, the wax idol melted together with the engine. more
A spoiled brat high on life with a punchable face, but when it comes to pop-rock, this idiot really knows his stuff. more
The greatest acid group of all time. A piece like Calvary devours all at once the entire English-German-Californian-Abruzzes e psychedelic scene, in short, they are the best. more
