Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
It's practically disliked by everyone, but those who claim to love it do so just to give themselves an air, to be special, different from the crowd. It's psychologically understandable. more

Ridley Scott
It's not that low-quality movies or mediocre films should be ignored, but the director of Blade Runner can be forgiven for everything regardless. more
Jaki Liebezeit
No, it’s just that I wouldn’t know what to say. For a while now, I’ve been blown away by the work he did on tracks like “Halleluwha.” It’s inhuman; it’s a machine disguised as Kraut that churns out devastating and obsessive rhythms that are practically perfect. more

No definition for the best drummer in the universe??? Brilliant, Futuristic, and, of course, technically the Number One. more

Yes -Magnification
Beautiful, inspired, very dreamy in some parts ("Dreamtime" and "In the presence of"). A pity about some lengthiness, but ultimately it’s an album that is enjoyable to listen to, also thanks to the variety brought by the orchestra. (7.5) more
Yes -The Ladder
A good job. The first Yes briefly re-emerges. (7) more
Paul Di'Anno
A dickhead. Adorable though. more
Tim Buckley
It's incredible that on Debaser there’s more talk about Buckley than about Johann Sebastian Bach. It seems to me that it's a music site! Right? And Bach is great music, classical and always in bloom. It's a pity that someone like Buckley, who strums an acoustic guitar and sings with his throat, according to his tone, is idolized by those who don't appreciate academic music, the kind that is created and performed by professionals. Everything that comes from America can hardly ever be respectable. more

JOHN COLTRANE STEREO BLUES!!!! Just listen to these in sequence, at least these, to understand that Steve Wynn and Karl Precoda deserve to be thanked FOREVER. Indefinable. more
