Bethesda Softworks -Fallout 3
A flashbang of hope that makes us believe in the survival, even in the 2000s, of Video Games with a capital "V." A game that simply can't not be liked, featuring a unique and well-crafted soundtrack. Nevertheless, it risks becoming a bit dull after around thirty hours of gameplay (in short, you play it gladly, you finish it, you mess around for a few more hours, and then you file it away in the trash). It remains a significant milestone in the realm of great video games. more
Lenny Kravitz
Maybe his music isn't the pinnacle of originality, as it often emulates greats like Prince, Jimi, Sly Stone, but the first two albums are commendable. The subsequent records feel a bit repetitive... more

Good as long as you have a face full of pimples, a lot of anger towards dad and mom, and don’t know how to express the shock of going from childhood to adolescence. But after eighteen, the pimples go away, the music is over, and so are the friends. And with that booming music, you can’t do anything anymore. The first nu-metal band. more

Piergiorgio Odifreddi -C'era una volta un paradosso-Storie di illusioni e verità rovesciate
A delightful read, like the other books by P.O., although I acknowledge it may be challenging in some parts for those not familiar with Mathematics, and Logic in particular. Moreover, the author usually highlights the more technical sections and invites "non-experts" to postpone their reading of those parts to a later time (so as not to "lose the thread" of the story, I think), or even to skip them altogether. more

But please, even the stones know Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger. They showed good compositional skills without revolutionizing anything, their sound is unmistakable, with memorable hits and ups and downs. more
Tom Verlaine
An unmovable piece in the mosaic of rock music, co-author with Television of the most beautiful album in the last 35 years, he has also managed to revolutionize the sound of the guitar alongside that other genius Richard Lloyd. Great as a solo artist. If it’s not a 5, then what is? more

PIM, PEM, PUM; then the bullets would run out and it came down to close combat, a furious struggle in the dust until the fight ended: the two would stop, and you couldn't tell who had killed whom, their eyes wide open. But for a moment, you see in the eyes of the dying a glimmer of something, like a plea, as if for an instant hatred fades away and an immense human need for affection resurfaces. There you go, for something so trivial, I get very moved and turn off the TV. more
