Afterhours -Germi
First album in Italian for After (1994) after their debut in English. A powerful and hard-hitting album, featuring several gems (Strategie, Dentro Marylin, Ossigeno, POP...). It's a shame that live they have almost completely abandoned this album, which we can consider not only a good work but also a stepping stone to the magnificent "Hai paura del buio?" from '97. more
Cluster -71
Untitled 3, a beautiful 21-minute beetle solo... I am Esterre (but I am not) I can't really appreciate it: harmful even in the periauricular area, I can even perceive areas of my brain damaged by the buzzing inflicted on me nonchalantly by this combo of sonic terrorists. So many wasted tapes! more
Kiss -Double Platinum
I have read and heard around the web that Kiss is just a commercial and image phenomenon, but after listening to this compilation of 20 tracks, I am convinced that even from a musical standpoint, they are not a negligible band. Beautiful "I want you" and "Black diamond." An honest compilation, especially good for approaching the discography of Simmons & Co. more
Pink Floyd -Echoes
I must admit my ignorance regarding Pink Floyd, as I only own this collection of the band. However, it seems to me that the collection is quite complete, featuring tracks from the 70s up to 1994, and it's very enjoyable. "Echoes," "Comfortably Numb," "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," and "High Hopes," especially with that spectacular final guitar solo... great album! more
Afterhours -I Milanesi Ammazzano Il Sabato
I’ve never fully embraced this album, even though I love the After to bits. The sound is overly polished, resulting in just a big mess, and the songs are boring and trivial. Personally, I only save "E' solo febbre," "Dove si va da qui," "Tutto domani," and the title track. The rest is a disappointment. But we can forgive them a misstep, right!!!!!! more
Il Teatro Degli Orrori -Il Mondo Nuovo
It took me a few months to digest this "brick" of 16 tracks and over 70 minutes, but in the end, I find it at least satisfactory. There are some dull moments like the very slow "Ion," but a few gems too ("Io cerco te," "non vedo l'ora," "Doris"). In my opinion, it's the worst of the three releases by Capovilla & Company so far. more
Afterhours -Padania
After the incredibly disappointing "I milanesi ammazzano il Sabato" of 2008, here comes the old Manuel Agnelli, at the ripe age of 45, back to make us dream...in my opinion, one of the most complete albums by the Milanese band, with the return of the great Xabier Iriondo on guitar...a must-have CD! more
Scorpions -Tokyo Tapes
Pure spectacle. Having stated that I adore the early period of the Scorpions' long career, this is a sort of best of the band's 70s era. Great live performances with the genius Uli Roth on guitar... more
Moby -Play
If the album had only 10-11 tracks instead of 18, there would be 5 balls... unfortunately, several pieces give a strong impression of being "fillers," and the album seems a bit verbose in my opinion. However, it’s still another enjoyable and listenable record. more
The Cure -Greatest Hits
I've grown up with this Ciddì, so there's a certain emotional attachment... it's a nice collection of historical pieces, even if it misses my favorite by The Cure, which is "Burn" (the one that was the soundtrack for "The Crow," just to be clear). more
Ghost
By far the best Japanese band of the last twenty years, and absolutely one of the very few Japanese acts capable of holding their own against (and teaching lessons to) many Western groups. Pure jaw-dropping. more
Pino Scotto
"I'm a fucking queer! I meant queer in the way of thinking; I have great respect for homosexuals. Go Jack!" (cited Pino Scotto). more
Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O.
Verbose, confusing, meandering, completely stoned, original at 1.075%, three-quarters of the discography utterly useless. The remaining quarter is enough for a passing grade, but nothing more. more
Pino Scotto
Like many others, the good Pino has personally met the legendary Stiv Giobbs. Once, Stiv told Pino one of his famous maxims: "be yourself, be scotto." To which Pino went out and bought a pack of Pan di Stelle. more
Jennifer Gentle
Fasolo is one of the most underrated composers in Italy. Funny Creatures Lane and Valende are two excellent albums. more
Pink Floyd
The Barrett era was a damn thing. more
Ozzy Osbourne
someone who imitates Pino Scotto more
Delta V
Excellent. Over the years they have lost a bit, but overall they are still commendable. Spazio remains a small masterpiece. more
The Stooges
Fantastic, the essence of rock more
Bruce Springsteen
Youporn in the Usa !!!! The text to speech of Trenitalia is much more expressive. more
