Steven Seagal
Much more untouchable than Chuck Norris, and every one of his movies is proof of it. He must have taken trillions of bullets, and none of them have gotten within half a meter of him. Not to mention the fights. To me, he is an idol of B/C1 cinema. more
Linkin Park
If they weren't famous and if they weren't always labeled as an alternative group, your opinions would be different. In reality, they've always been a mainstream group, almost pop, but they've always done so with the ability and desire to bring something to the table. Sure, they have tons of adolescent traits (but what's wrong with adolescents, anyway?), and their image is quite debatable. However, they know how to make it work, and the evidence is there: Linkin Park - Waiting For The End (Live from Red Square)

David Bowie -Station To Station
Station to Station is (perhaps) his most beautiful piece ever. more
Lou Reed
Why don't we all give him a 5? more
Metallica
Saying things like "merde, seghe, scarsi" means you've never really listened to at least their best songs; it's pointless to discuss their importance. Many metal musicians from established bands that emerged after them cite them as their ultimate source of inspiration, on par with Black Sabbath and Judas Priest. Coincidence? As for the rest, the first four are great albums, the Black Album is also very good, but after that the quality tends to dip. However, their great records remain, and they are always excellent live. Five for life. more
Lou Reed
Great, truly great artist both with the Velvet (the first two albums, but the self-titled one is fantastic too) and as a solo artist (New York, Berlin, The Blue Mask, Coney Island Baby, and above all Transformer). Sure, he’s made some crap too, but in a fifty-year career, that's to be expected. The album with Metallica isn’t good, but for me, it’s not the biggest piece of garbage in history as many have said… Narcotic live? I don’t know many seventy-year-olds putting on energetic and lively rock concerts :) more
Pennywise -Land Of The Free?
All PW are the same. Yes, good job, good job. All the same. Yup, rugby is a real sport, the values, the third half and then eating together. What was that about the swallow? On the field? Well, thirty, obviously. more
Muse
A bit repetitive but excellent musicians, they don't match my tastes, but I don't think it's fair to go below a 3(/3-). They have an interesting peculiarity: a fan/lovers of Muse can be recognized immediately. more
Uochi Toki
Unbearable. more
Uochi Toki
They want to be stupid, smart, homeless, indifferent, uninterested, in the flow, have the right cards, the right cultural background, cliché definitions, interviews, a stripy life, believe they think with their own heads, have strong convictions, hit the parties, go to Trieste. That’s why they said: "the underground is too high, let’s see what’s deeper! And if there’s nothing, we’ll invent it, body of a thousand whales!" - Where did I draw the words to define them? From one of their pieces, it seems. more
M. Night Shyamalan -Unbreakable
Perhaps his masterpiece. 4.5 more
M. Night Shyamalan -Il Sesto Senso
For once, success and quality go hand in hand, thank goodness. more
M. Night Shyamalan -E venne il giorno
Underrated, a beautiful work on paranoia and the impotence of the unknown. more
Tom Verlaine -Dreamtime
The perfect soundtrack of 1981 in Manhattan. Besides being my favorite of his. "There's A Reason," "Mr Blur," "Mary Marie"... more than just an album, a milestone in Guitar history. more
23 Skidoo
Fundamental...? Not at all, it's more than that! This is a lesson in the anatomy of rhythm. more
The Edge
One who has made the most out of a very limited technical baggage, or in any case considerably inferior to the Great Master Guitarists of the New Wave era. Therefore - respect. more
Marco Travaglio
Portray a loathsome character. But the most detestable thing is the prolific nature of his polemical writings: trees stolen from literature. more
Marco Travaglio
There are still people who believe he is on the left because they think Berlusconi is genuinely on the right... an tireless writer, honest and transparent, he doesn't give a damn about anything or anyone. In person, he's even better; by the way, his shows are usually free. more
