An album with the power of a hammer to the face. more
A masterpiece more
The perfect record. more
This music sustains us in every way. Often, it's even questionable. Sometimes, hating it is all too easy. But for this album, the inspiration must have been miraculous. Just like the balance between the musicians. The sound and atmosphere are magical and suspended, in time and space. A journey with closed eyes, anywhere, in the most secret folds of oneself. Bill, but really, what kind of person are you? A bit strange, like the sound of your bass, unlike any other. more
The more you enter his world, think in his way, the more you understand how ahead of his time he was. Too ahead. Ungrammatical guitars, scattered ignorant percussion, diffuse time, the voice mistreated by a falsetto to a hideous gurgle. More creative, anti-conformist, an ante litteram of the same Zappa. Pervaded by a background of sadness and despair exorcized by mockery and heavy wordplay at the edge of comprehensibility. A monster. Of solitude. more
Published against his will, therefore all the more zappian as it is foreign to the not unwitting musical architecture built by the Duke of Prunes. Lather returns it for what it should have been, but heard in a dirty and inappropriate way as it was at the end of the '80s, this record, probably not intended in that form by its very author, contains miraculous pills of every musical genre, even of genres yet to be invented. Enlightening. more
To be enjoyed alone on a warm night, sipping Southern Comfort. more
The sound of a Hammond would never have been so wonderful without a Leslie Speaker inside. more
Leslie Nielsen, from the depths of my heart, thank you. more
Great thrash metal band, definitely underrated. "Power and Pain" and a couple of other albums kick the ass of many other bands in the genre. more
...and then comes the bridge of "I feel good," and it doesn't matter how much everything before that moment has been a mess. from then on, everything that's wrong disappears, vanishes, dissolves. and you feel awesome, period. thanks, maceo. more
simply, thank you for existing. more
I must say that when it came out, I was already too old to watch it (and indeed I’ve probably seen a total of just about ten scattered minutes), but this cartoon is the ABSOLUTE EVIL, the beginning of cartoons made solely to sell a product (the trading cards). more
Saga of the crowned madonna. For me, 7 is the best, followed by 6 and, at a significant distance, 8... the rest is negligible, even though 9 holds its own well... those from the post-PS1 era are in a free fall in quality. more
The album with that little-known theme. more
Fallen princess of Crunk'n'B, she has still remained a dignified pop-R&B singer. more
"I'm trying to make an objective assessment between the passion I felt as a kid for this stuff and the horror it evokes in me now. The first series was incredibly fun, the second potentially great (great for the whole fridge saga, which quickly went downhill and badly). Obviously, I'm talking about the Manga. The cartoon sucks, period." more
Undoubtedly FF. more
1997, PlayStation: Final Fantasy 7 is released, simply the most beautiful video game ever created, a work of art to be remembered forever. Whenever I hear the (fantastic) music from this game, I feel like crying. more
Referring back to Dragon Ball, at least I watched that when I was little. I've always found Pokemon absolutely terrible, even though I don't understand why: after all, at the beginning it had fewer pretensions and was aimed at a very young audience, unlike Dragon Ball with its macho superhero nonsense. So why, why, WHY do people still talk about it even as adults??!! more
