Desert shamans. No one can transport you with such disarming technical simplicity. The "robot" style of repetitive riffs is exceptional; those dirty guitars are a damn carpet that creates a power and a sonic elevation in every piece that few can achieve. Josh Homme's falsetto and his simultaneously simple and effective approach to perfect vocal lines in every track. They are becoming one of my favorite bands. more
