Camel -Moonmadness
Maybe Camel are getting a bit too tidy, foreshadowing their upcoming stylistic shift. Anyway, a good album. more
Steven Wilson -Grace For Drowning
And this, my friends, is a fantastic record. Occasionally a bit self-indulgent, but with moments of absolute value. more
Gentle Giant -Octopus
Think Of Me With Kindness is stunning. But, upon reflection, so are the others. more
Francesco Guccini -Radici
Huge record from the Italian singer-songwriter. The meeting is spine-chilling, La Locomotiva needs no description. The almost prog music of "Canzone dei dodici mesi" is excellent. more
Camel -The Snow Goose
Perhaps the best of the camel. Stunning melodic carvings. more
Toto
Technique, clarity of sound, and professionalism at the service of beautiful and catchy music that never falls into the mundane or the "been there, heard that." My absolute favorite period is from 1978 to 1982, which saw the release of gems like "Toto," "Hydra," "Turn Back," and "Toto IV" (their masterpiece). Wonderful! more
Elio e le Storie Tese
exceptional until their first Sanremo, very modest afterwards. Still quite enjoyable live. more
Rubik
It's probably the secret reincarnation of AnielloAmitrano... more

The Who -Who's Next
Another rock delight from The Who. You can somewhat overlook the silly lyrics of My Wife, but the rest is sublime stuff. For me, Pete Townshend is one of the greatest composers of the last century. more
Sly & The Family Stone
Funk is a family affair. more
Northpole
They were good. Too good to be appreciated and have a future in Italy? At the very least, an eponymous album to listen to and keep in mind. more
Elio e le Storie Tese
Among the best Italian bands currently around; I like them, even if they don't drive me crazy. It's a shame that the label of "comedy rock band" has prevented them from achieving the rightful success they deserve. One of their greatest flaws, in my opinion, is an excessive musical referencing in their songs, which I hope won't long-term hide a lack of innovative ideas. more
Tim Buckley -Goodbye And Hello
His folk masterpiece. It's incredible how connected he is to this record: "Once I Was" and "Phantasmagoria in Two" are among the most beautiful love songs ever conceived. And then the Voice is already what it is, already mature: the wings had just begun to sprout. more
Rubik
Until yesterday, he was only famous for the cube. Today also for the bullshit, elevated to the cube. more
The Rolling Stones
We're not here to hand out earplugs to Dumbo. more
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
I prefer Here, There, and Everywhere. By the way, whose children are the three little ducks? more
Pearl Jam
When pooping becomes an Olympic discipline, for them it will only be gold medals. more
Deep Purple
Shit Purple. Purple poop. What were they eating? more
