Can you explain to me what they are like? I’ve never been able to listen to them for more than 30 seconds. more
They are definitely better than Led Zeppelin. more
Classic band with a taste of urine. Their work cannot be categorized as "music," not even as "shit." It's pitifully "piss." more
Where has humility gone? more
Tamarri. Angus limps during the solos, too emotional. 5 stars because they still take a lot of people off the Gigi D'Alessio/Moreno/Vasco Brondi/Lady Gaga path. more
Impeccable arrangements as demonstrated by "Mustapha", deep lyrics with continuous references to Neoplatonic philosophy, see "All we hear is Radio ga-ga
Radio goo-goo
Radio ga-ga
All we hear is Radio ga-ga
Radio blah blah
Radio, what's new?
Radio, someone still loves you". Great band... of shit. Mind you, I said band. more
A dumb guitarist, a bassist that nobody cares about, an anorexic singer, and a crazy guy behind the drums. The prototype of the perfect band with a taste of urine and Satan. Too bad they've actually written a few songs... more
In 2003, Metallica was going through a tough time, and it had been too long since we heard a good album from them. Thus, St. Anger was released, their worst work. After three uninspired yet decent tracks, the rest of the platter is of absolute emptiness, and everything feels even more boring due to the absence of any solos and even less enjoyable because of a recording quality that is at times unacceptable. more
With Youthanasia, Megadeth demonstrate their ability to produce excellent albums without recycling the formula that brought them success. The Thrash foundation is complemented by influences that even approach Hard Rock and classic Heavy Metal, but the result is much more commendable compared to Countdown to Extinction, thanks to more varied and inspired sections. more
Rust in Peace is the only true masterpiece by Megadeth. An incredibly technical album with exceptional songwriting, filled with never-banal virtuosities (excellent performance by all band members, by the way) accompanied by constantly aggressive rhythms, just as the band had already accustomed us to in previous works. It can be said that Dave has finally managed to reach the level that the much-envied Metallica had achieved with the famous Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets. more
A scratching and hammering disc, even if inferior to Handle With Care and Survive. The debut album by Nuclear Assault boasts a distinctly recognizable sound, where hardcore punk influences are more pronounced compared to what will happen in later works. Hang the Pope! more
Together with Game Over and Survive, it forms a triad that perfectly represents the wild thrashers' way of being, managing, despite this, to remain varied and not repetitive for the listener. 35 minutes in which Nuclear Assault shift from grindcore to funky, traversing simple tracks and more complex ones, always maintaining a very high quality throughout the platter. more
Arrows & Anchors is a thoroughly complete and decidedly memorable album, not at all repetitive, easy on the ears but difficult to grasp. At the first listen, it manages to leave the listener both bewildered and transported to another universe, as only Fair to Midland can. Listen to it without any prejudice, because it’s a true gem that can stand toe-to-toe with their previous masterpiece (though it may remain slightly inferior). more
Great voice and some remarkable tracks ("Breathe Me," "Kill and Run," "Soon We'll Be Found," "Academia" to name a few); it's a shame she's mainly known to the general public for having sung the crap of David Guetta. more
Sweet Emotion has always made me come in my boxers. more
The Genesis have revolutionized rock music. They are simply geniuses capable of composing divine music! more
Useless. Poor. Pseudo-intellectual. Better a urine IV. more
In their genre, there are few groups like them. more
Technically skilled, but it's a shame they can't evoke an emotion for even a second, not even in songs that last 24 minutes. more
Except for a couple of albums, they are truly one of a kind! more
